little of our history |

South Shore Truck
Centre, a division of South Shore Ready Mix Ltd., opened at its present location, 1888 King Street,
Bridgewater, in 1989. |
|
The truck centre
was primarily built to maintain the fleet of ready mix trucks,
however it soon grew to meet the needs of the trucking
community for the south shore and surrounding areas of Nova
Scotia. |

| Soon after
opening, a full Mack parts and service dealership was added. |

| Throughout
the 20 years of operation, the garage has grown in size and
the number of customers it serves. Currently there are
6 licensed mechanics, 2 apprentices, 2 qualified welders (1 welder
supervisor) on staff covering 7 repair bays. |

In March 2011 South
Shore Truck Centre acquired the Hytsu forklift line and is now
the sole distributor of Hytsu forklifts for Atlantic Canada. We
are now able to provide our customer with new and used forklifts
at a very competitive price that will meet everyday business
needs. The Hytsu brand forklift has proven to be one of the best
value names in the industry with guaranteed quality and economical
prices. |

planning stages of expanding our repair facility to better serve
you, our valued customer. |
